Born in the chaotic climate of early 20's Seattle, La fem records was founded by musician/producer Francesca Eluhu. Representing a new generation of Seattle music, La fem records stems from the need to amplify and support QTBIPOC artists. With roots in experimental R&B, La fem's small roster branches americana, indie, pop, neoclassical, jazz, neo-soul and electro-soul. La fem artists are genre-diverse, presenting eclectic fusions of sound meant to challenge traditional boundaries of genre. The result is music "pour la fin du temps"; a reflection of life in the end times.With the goal to empower and foster sustainable artistic careers for their artists, La fem records seeks to aid artists by connecting them with their network of studios, producers, engineers, and graphic designers. La Fem currently represents psychedelic neo-soul band Day Soul Exquisite, alternative electro-soul artist FEM du lit, experimental/jazz instrumentalist KUKRI, and post-americana producer/songwriter Yearn.
